We want every Maraletto piece to find a home it deserves. If something isn’t right, this single document covers everything you need to know about cancelling an order, returning a piece, and how refunds are handled.
Cancellation
You may cancel an order within 24 hours of purchase, provided it has not yet entered production or shipping. Each Maraletto garment is made to order in Portugal, so once production has begun cancellation is no longer possible.
To cancel, email hello@maraletto.com with your order number. We’ll confirm the status and refund the original payment method if eligible.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to return any piece that doesn’t feel like yours. To qualify, items must be:
- unworn, unwashed and undamaged,
- returned with original packaging and care tags attached,
- not made-to-order, customised, or marked final sale.
To start a return, write to hello@maraletto.com with your order number and the reason. We’ll send back return instructions within one business day. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless the piece arrived damaged or defective.
Refunds
Once we receive your return and confirm it meets the conditions above, your refund is issued to the original payment method within 5 – 10 business days. We’ll email you the moment it’s on its way.
If 14 days pass after we’ve confirmed receipt and the refund still hasn’t appeared:
- check your bank or card statement again,
- contact your card issuer — posting times can vary,
- if it’s still missing, email hello@maraletto.com and we’ll trace it.
Damaged or defective items
If your piece arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We’ll replace the piece at no additional cost, or issue a full refund including original shipping — whichever you prefer.
Sale & final-sale items
Items marked as final sale or sold below 50% of their original price are not eligible for return or refund, unless they arrived damaged or defective.
Made-to-order pieces
Limited editions and pieces produced specifically for you are non-returnable once production has begun. We’ll always flag this clearly on the product page before checkout.
